For a showcase site or a blog, a web hosting plan is usually enough. For WordPress with traffic or an online shop, choose WordPress or eCommerce. If you need root access or your own software, choose a VPS. If you are not sure, write to us.

Yes, at any time, from the client account. You pay only the difference for the remaining period.

No. Prices are shown excluding VAT (Net); the Gross switch in the top bar shows them including 21% VAT. The default currency is euro, and invoices are issued in lei at the BNR exchange rate.

Yes. The code HOSTON25 gives new customers 25% off the first invoice (web hosting, WordPress, eCommerce). You also get 10% off for annual payment, and NGOs and schools get 50% after a check. On VPS, new customers get 15% off the first invoice with the code VPS15, once.

The renewal price is the one in the price list on the renewal date; in lei it is calculated at the BNR rate.

Online, from the my.hoston.ro client account. You see the payment methods at checkout and on each invoice.

Yes. The invoice is issued electronically with the details in your client account, and you can download it at any time from my.hoston.ro.

Usually a few minutes after payment is confirmed. Hosting and VPS servers are activated automatically, and you get the access details by email.

Yes, for free, from any provider. We copy the files, databases and emails and check everything before you change DNS.

The access details for your current hosting (cPanel or FTP and the database) and the domain. You send them through the migration form or in a ticket.

Yes. At your current registrar, you change the nameservers to the ones in the activation email. You can also transfer your domain to HostON.

Usually a few hours. Rarely up to 24–48 hours, depending on the caches of internet providers.

It depends on the extension. On the domains page, the renewal price is shown next to the registration price for each extension.

Yes. Hosting plans include unlimited email accounts on your domain. You manage them from cPanel and use them from webmail or from apps (IMAP/SMTP).

Yes. You set the spam filter from cPanel, for each email account.

Yes. You change the MX records in the domain's DNS zone, and the site stays hosted at HostON.

Yes. Every hosted domain receives a free SSL certificate, issued and renewed automatically. OV, EV and Wildcard certificates are ordered separately.

Imunify360 (antimalware, firewall, brute-force protection) and CloudLinux with CageFS, which keeps accounts separate from each other.

Yes, daily, on the hosting plans, with JetBackup. You restore from cPanel or ask us to do it by ticket. On a VPS, you make the backups yourself.

Open a ticket. We help you find the infected files and restore a clean copy from backup.

If you ask within the first 30 days, we refund in full what you paid for hosting on the first invoice. It applies to web hosting, WordPress, eCommerce, Web Performance and reseller. VPS servers and domains are not included.

Through the “Withdraw from the contract here” function in the site footer. Individuals can withdraw within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract.

Yes, from the client account. The service stays active until the end of the paid period and then does not renew.

Monday–Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, by ticket, email or phone. The servers are monitored automatically around the clock.
