Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work, others are used for statistics. Under Legea nr. 506/2004 (Romanian law on electronic communications privacy), cookies that are not strictly necessary are used only with your consent.
Besides cookies, the browser can keep data in local storage (sessionStorage); we treat it the same way and include it below.

On your first visit we ask you what you accept. “Necessary only” and “Accept statistics” are displayed equally prominently; refusing does not limit your access to the site. You can change your choice at any time, with the button below or with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies already saved.

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies or social media pixels. The only external widget is the one showing our HostAdvice rating, which loads only after you accept statistics. If we ever add other external services, we will add them to this list and ask for your consent first.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, the site can no longer remember your currency or language, and the client account and cart in my.hoston.ro will not work.
For Google Analytics there is also the official opt-out extension: tools.
Yes. “Necessary only” keeps only the cookies without which the site cannot remember your currency, language or choice. All pages and orders work the same way.
Click “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page or the button on this page and untick “Statistics”. The Google Analytics cookies already saved are deleted.
No. The Google Analytics script loads only after your consent, and consent starts as “denied” by default.
It remembers whether you want to see prices with VAT (individual) or without VAT (company). It is a preference you set yourself, so it is a strictly necessary cookie.
The AI assistant does not. The chat with an operator (tawk.to) sets cookies only after you choose to talk to an operator.
