Professional email
Email on your own domain, included with hosting
Addresses such as office@your-company.ro are not bought separately at HostON: you create them from cPanel, in any hosting plan, and read them in the browser, on your phone or in Outlook.
- Unlimited email addresses
- Webmail, IMAP and SMTP
- Included in every hosting plan
What the email includes
Email is part of the hosting account. You do not pay separately per mailbox.
Addresses on your own domain
You create as many addresses as you like: office@, contact@ or one for each colleague, on every domain in the account.
Webmail
You read and send email from any browser, at webmail.hoston.ro, with no setup.
Phone and Outlook
You set up the address on iPhone, Android, Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail in a few minutes, over secure IMAP and SMTP.
Spam filters
The cPanel spam filter marks or moves unwanted messages; you adjust the threshold yourself.
Forwarders
You automatically forward the messages of one address to other addresses or to colleagues.
Autoresponder
Automatic replies for holidays or outside working hours.
SPF and DKIM
Signatures and records that help your messages reach the inbox rather than spam.
Daily backup
Emails are included in the hosting account's daily JetBackup backup.
Settings for phone and Outlook
You will find the exact details for each address in cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices. They are usually these:
- Username
- the full email address
- Incoming server (IMAP)
- mail.your-domain.ro, port 993, SSL/TLS
- Incoming server (POP3)
- mail.your-domain.ro, port 995, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP)
- mail.your-domain.ro, port 465, SSL/TLS, with authentication
- Webmail
- webmail.hoston.ro
We recommend IMAP: messages stay on the server and you see them the same way on your phone, laptop and in webmail.

Credibility
Why an address on your own domain
A message from office@your-company.ro inspires more trust than one from a free address, and keeps your company name in every email. The addresses remain yours even when colleagues leave or you change hosting provider.
- Your company name in every message
- Addresses for every colleague or department
- Move them along with the domain, at any time

On any device
The same inbox on your phone, laptop and in the browser
With IMAP, messages stay on the server and appear the same on all devices. You set up the account on your phone or in Outlook using the details from cPanel, and when you do not have the app to hand, you use webmail.
- IMAP, POP3 and SMTP with SSL/TLS
- Webmail at webmail.hoston.ro
- Guided setup from cPanel

Deliverability
SPF, DKIM and DMARC
If your domain uses our DNS servers, cPanel can configure SPF and DKIM automatically from the “Email Deliverability” section. You add the DMARC record from the DNS zone editor; we will help if you do not know which values to enter.
- SPF and DKIM from cPanel
- DMARC from the DNS editor
- Help from support with the setup

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions customers ask us most often about this service.
No. Email addresses are included in all HostON hosting plans (web, WordPress, Web Performance, eCommerce and accounts created by resellers). There is no separate product for email alone.
Unlimited, on every domain in the account. The practical limit is the plan's storage, which your websites and mailboxes share.
You set each mailbox's quota yourself, within the storage of the hosting plan.
In cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices you will find the exact settings. Usually: the username is the full address, the server is mail.your-domain.ro, IMAP on port 993 and SMTP on port 465, both with SSL/TLS.
At webmail.hoston.ro, with the full email address and its password.
DNS records that show that messages sent from your domain are legitimate. SPF and DKIM are configured from cPanel (Email Deliverability); you add DMARC from the DNS zone editor. Together they reduce the chance of your messages ending up in spam.
For ordinary messages, yes. Large campaigns to subscriber lists are not suitable on shared hosting: they can overload the server and affect delivery of all customers' messages. For those we recommend a dedicated newsletter service.
A VPS does not include a ready-configured email server; you install and manage it yourself. For email without administration, use a hosting plan.
