Web hosting
Hosting servers with cPanel and LiteSpeed
Hosting accounts (web, WordPress, eCommerce, Web Performance and reseller) run on servers with cPanel/WHM. The web server is LiteSpeed, compatible with .htaccess files and with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress.

Isolation
Every account in its own space
CloudLinux limits memory, CPU and the number of processes for each account, and CageFS isolates the files. If a neighbouring account is overloaded or infected, your account is not affected.

VPS servers
VPS on Proxmox, with NVMe disks
VPS servers are KVM virtual machines on a Proxmox VE cluster. You get root access, NVMe disks and resources reserved only for your server.

Security
Protection at server level
Imunify360 scans files for malware, applies firewall rules and blocks repeated login attempts. Free SSL certificates are issued and renewed automatically (AutoSSL).

Our own network
HostON has its own autonomous system number (ASN), registered with the RIPE NCC. Through it we announce the IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes below. The data is public and you can check it at any time.

What we do not write on this page
We do not publish “Tier” certifications, latencies or network capacities that we cannot demonstrate publicly. If you need technical details for a specific project, for example an audit or a tender, write to us and we will answer point by point.
Frequently asked questions
In Vrancea, Romania. The hosting and VPS servers are in the country, so your data stays in the European Union.
LiteSpeed Web Server. It reads .htaccess files the same way Apache does and has server-level caching, which WordPress uses through the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
Daily, on the hosting plans. JetBackup copies the files, databases and emails, and you restore them from cPanel or ask us to do it by ticket.
Each account has its own limits for memory, CPU and processes, and a separate file system (CageFS). If a neighbouring site gets heavy traffic or is infected, your account is not affected.
