01. What is GDPR?
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the European regulation that protects the personal data of EU citizens. Entering into force on 25 May 2018, it grants citizens extensive rights over their data and imposes obligations on controllers.
02. Right of Access (Art. 15)
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time.
This includes: account data, order history, access logs, sent emails.
We respond within a maximum of 30 calendar days.
03. Right to Rectification (Art. 16)
If your data is incorrect or incomplete, you can correct it directly from the client panel (my.hoston.ro) or by email at info@hoston.ro.
04. Right to Erasure (Art. 17)
You can request the deletion of your personal data. The request will be processed except for data we are legally required to retain (invoices — 10 years, per the Tax Code).
Account deletion also involves the deletion of all active services. Make sure you have backed up your data before requesting deletion.
05. Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18)
You can request the restriction of processing of your data (for example, if you contest the accuracy of the data or if you have objected to processing). The data will be flagged and not actively processed.
06. Right to Data Portability (Art. 20)
You can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON/CSV) to transfer to another controller. Requests should be sent to info@hoston.ro.
07. Right to Object (Art. 21)
You can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes or based on legitimate interests. Objection to marketing has immediate effect.
08. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling (Art. 22)
HostON does not use automated decisions that produce legal effects or significantly affect you. We do not apply automated profiling.
09. How to Exercise Your Rights

We respond within 30 days. If the request is complex, the deadline may be extended by an additional 60 days, with notification.
We do not charge fees for exercising GDPR rights (exception: manifestly unfounded or excessive requests).
